Let’s cook together!
Hi! We’re Anna and Lucia, two friends who love to cook. In 2020 we created The Ridgewood Kitchen CSA, a monthly themed subscription of our favorite pantry staples. These sauces, spices, and spreads are sourced from small-scale producers around the US. And they make cooking so fun - from soy sauce to curry paste to heirloom beans and spices, you will turn to them again and again in your kitchen.
Current Projects
-
Kitchen CSA Subscription
Members get three installments of 5-7 edible culinary pantry items that follow a theme and an original recipe zine with each pickup.
-
Product of the Month
Every month we reveal a new culinary item, condiment, piece of equipment, or book that we love. Once it’s gone it’s gone!
-
Anna's Bread
Every once in a while, Anna bakes beautiful long-fermented, crispy-topped sourdough, with flavors like squash-black-garlic and green polenta & hatch chili. Sold on Instagram, pickup in Queens.
-
Stomach Dom
A project Lucia did during Covid, where people would send her photos of their refrigerator and pantry and she would send them back a recipe using what she saw.
Events
Sometimes we pop-up at events around the city.
We matched food with movies at the City Reliquary’s exploration of New York on screen.
We hosted a loosely-Persian pop-up called Saffron Picnic at Topos Bookstore.
We sold homemade mushroom jerky on the rooftop of Honey’s for a celebration of fungi.
You can catch us on December 9, 2023 at the Woodbine Holiday Market. We’ll be selling bread, gifts, and pantry staples.
